Refacing a wood front entry door in Gillette, NJ. New White Oak facing with matte varnish. Hardware repaired, cleaned and repainted.
This door from Montclair, had to be dissassembled, it's joinery repaired and re glued.
This was a pretty straightforward strip and re varnish. Cool doors, eh?
Radius Top Front Entry Door Restoration
A quarter sawn door rediscovered underneath all that paint.
We've been busy in Maplewood. Here's a 'sleeper' door. Buried beneath all that paint and grunge is quartersawn white oak. Hardware also looks great once cleaned up. Nice!
And here are the rehung doors looking way better than we got 'em. A great pair of doors that we're thrilled to have brought back to life.
True radius door in Maplewood, NJ fully stripped, repaired and refinished.
Here's the lock set area with new wood grafted in to give the screws that old the lock set something to bite into. The wood graft is sized slightly smaller than the plate. Once the plate is installed, our handy work disappears.
